MISSION

CEFAIRE

The fight against gender-based violence is one of the greatest social, economic and development challenges of our time.

According to the World Health Organization at least one in three women in the world is a victim of gender-based violence, with harmful consequences for health and development.

This violence has a significant cost: it prevents the victims who endure it from accessing education and fully participating in economic and social life

In some countries, direct expenditure as well as income and productivity losses due to partner violence is around 3.7% of GDPmore than the budget allocated to education in many countries.

By domestic violence, WHO designates a situation in which a person exercises verbal, psychological, physical, sexual, or economic violence.

Domestic violence can occur at every stage of the life of a couple and can affect all partners, regardless of socio-cultural background, age, nationality and religion.

In France, the survey "Living environment and security" conducted in 2019 shows that 7 out of 10 respondents experienced domestic violence, of which the spouse or ex-spouse is the responsable.

The Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically and tragically exacerbated domestic violence, as a result of health containment stress, loss of income and isolation.

Preventing and fighting against gender-based violence must be take in actions based on relevant research and data to provide viable and lasting solutions.
Our project to set up a training, support and research center for victims of violence, will allow them to shape their own lives and choose the professional path in alignment with their objectives.

This individualized support offered in partnership with multilateral and bilateral organizations, as well as governments, businesses and NGOs, in order to promote financial autonomy and social inclusion. This project designed to help domestically abused people to regain economic independence, heal from their trauma, and recover social life will not only help the victims at individual level but the whole society at social
